beSTEAM – Hero España

BESTEAM BUSINESS, is a meeting place between women with STEAM profiles, workers of a large company in the Region, and girls from different schools in the Region of Murcia. During a morning, students have the opportunity to learn about the professional and personal life experience of these STEAM women, clearing concerns that help to expand their professional expectations, becoming references for them. The main objective of this activity is to break stereotypes and increase the participation of female students in STEAM studies. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths).
On this occasion 50 girls met workers from HERO SPAIN, approaching professions such as food technologist, chemical engineer, biochemist, food safety specialist or automation and electronics engineer.
HERO SPAIN is consolidated as a reference company in the region, leaders in innovation and scientific development. They have the largest factory in the Group, with which they supply our country and countries around the world. HERO ESPAÑA celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022. It landed in the region on January 20, 1922. It began as a mere export factory of fruit and vegetables from the Murcian orchard for its parent company in Switzerland, today it is a benchmark of quality and trust for thousands of consumers nationally and internationally, functioning as the main hub of the baby food category for the Hero Group.
