The purpose of the project ‘Un Paso Adelante en Innovación’, hereinafter UPAi, is to undertake CEEIM’s mission within the framework of the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia grants aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), thus contributing to promoting and boosting regional economic development and growth as well as its competitiveness, employment and its quality, and the productivity of its business fabric, in a way that is completely aligned with the main instrument for boosting and supporting the economic fabric of the Region, the Instituto de Fomento.
The structure of the UPAi project is made up of 5 Lines of Action defined according to the regulatory bases of the aid, within which a set of activities have been articulated that make up a global and integrated project capable of addressing all the required objectives.
ACTION POINT (a): Actions aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and innovation at an early age.
ACTION POINT (b): Actions aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship projects in the regional business fabric.
ACTION POINT (c): Actions to promote the start-up and consolidation of innovative companies.
ACTION POINT (d): Actions to promote the mentoring of entrepreneurs.
ACTION POINT (e) | Actions aimed at promoting meeting points to facilitate contact between entrepreneurs and private investors or business angels.
The actions to be undertaken with UPAi are perfectly linked to regional strategies, and aim to promote the implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship projects, supporting the actions of entities such as CEEIM, which play an essential role in the ‘crystallisation’ of business projects. Likewise, these actions have been designed in perfect alignment with CEEIM’s mission, and are therefore relevant and appropriate within the framework of the foundation’s fulfilment.
Furthermore, the actions to be developed will meet the following requirements:
- They will be universally accessible and available to any company included in the object of the actions, which will be publicised according to the nature of the same.
- They will be free of charge for all potential recipients under the same conditions.
