OBJECTIVES:
The CHERRIES project provides European health systems with methodologies to implement innovative solutions linked to Responsible Research and Innovation.
ACTIVITIES:
CHERRIES carries out 3 pilots for the implementation of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) policies in the health sector in 3 European territories: in Murcia, Örebro and the Republic of Cyprus. These processes, their results and the policy frameworks in which the experiments are integrated are monitored, evaluated and will serve as an evidence base for the revision of sectoral policies, strategies and instruments to support innovation.
In this way, CHERRIES involves territorial stakeholders ecosystems in the establishment of a participatory agenda through the articulation of needs and institutional reflection processes. These will serve as a starting point for collective approaches with shared responsibilities aimed at creating more open and inclusive territorial research and innovation (R&I) ecosystems.
